10th Anniversary of the HandMade map!

 This is the 10th Anniversary for the HandMade in Thunder Bay Map!

This Map indicates locations in and around Thunder Bay where quality, locally hand made arts and crafts are available.

The HandMade Maps are available through tourist information racks in local hotels, tourist bureaus (Terry Fox and Pagoda), all branches of the Thunder Bay Public Library, the Airport, participating locations, and at the Thunder Bay Ventures office in the NOTC building at 1294 Balmoral.

We are celebrating the 2010-11 Map at 18 participating locations with the SUMMER SAMPLER TOUR.  The self-guided SUMMER SAMPLER TOUR continues at all participating locations from now until the end of July!

Maps and Ballots are available at any of the 18 participating locations, libraries, the TBV office. For a list of participants click HERE.

Each visitor can have a ballot stamped to be eligible to WIN prizes.  You can enter the attendance draw with as little as one filled set of six, or with all 3 sets.

TheHandMade in Thunder Bay map is an annual, non-profit, economic development project which started in 2001.

The Handmade in Thunder Bay Map highlights over 30 local artists and artisans and is intended to heighten resident and visitor awareness of the high quality and diversity of art and crafts produced by these talented artists and artisans.
